As growing begins, the grapegrower is often powerless when faced with extreme climatic phenomena that jeopardize the physiological state of the plant. When time is of essence, we must come up with a reliable and quick response in order to offset the irreversible consequences of these problems: the CousiFolia® range of leaf-nutrition products.

This nutritional and corrective range benefits from cutting-edge leaf-research technology: the Agricultural Méthode Cousinié®.

Your concerns with regard to bad weather

Bad weather can lead to irreparable damage if there is no appropriate response within 48 hours.

We can identify several critical situations among those most likely:

Bidon de 10 litres CousiFolia®

  • Cooling: can affect growth consistency, even stopping growth with loss of harvest.
  • Hail: Destroys foliage and berries. It can produce major production shortages and weaken the vinestock.
  • Wind: causes breakage, especially when shoots are emerging.
  • Drop, Millerandage: flowering and setting are delicate periods whenever there are serious climatic disturbances.
  • Hydric stress: water shortages reduce qualitative and quantitative potential.
  • Stalk scorch: risk of decline in volume and quality.
  • Blockage of ripening: causes a major delay in harvesting.
  • Vinestock withering: certain diseases – esca, eutypiosis, blackwood – can affect some varieties and weaken them.
  • Deficits: These can generally be treated through the soil; however, rapid-acting foliage can provide otherwise missing elements.

In order to determine the scope of damage, physiological analyses must be carried out as soon as possible. As soon as deficits appear, limb analyses corroborate a reliable diagnosis.

Our thirty years of experience, as stored in the Agricultural Méthode Cousinié® Reference System, gives us the ability to act directly in all these situations without have to await the results of analysis. A painstaking description of damages generally suffices to implement an effective technical response.

CousiFolia® product range: organic and mineral components

Composition and performance

All our CousiFolia® foliage is prepared with an eye toward nutrient balances and biomineral regulators indispensable for the plant. Dosages are designed for maximum effectiveness and for a minimum of active ingredients. Synergic effects can be found in most formulas: one element reinforces the effect of another contained in the same formula, which boosts the active foliage ingredient with less significant doses.

The quality and mildness of these formulations makes it possible to apply them to every type of plant, including flowers and commercial farmed plants. We adapt formulas and their dosage to the cultivation type and the sought-after result (for reasons of security, please contact our agricultural services).

Practical conditions and delivery:

Available in 10-liter cans, our foliage is witness to the strong action power of the CousiFolia® trademark, Méthode Cousinié® certified.

Its potential for adhering to foliage is significant. Its action is quick and long-lasting, with no risk of leaching.
With the aim of maintaining air quality at a maximum, we have requested our manufacturers to use packaging that does not contain halogen derivatives (COUSIFOLIA® product range).

Delivery throughout France, Europe*, Latin America*, and recently, in California*.
